One more Christmas title suggestion

Sorry to add to the list after the hit, but we have a new favorite at our
school, which has caught on to the point of one of the church's basing the
children's Christmas play on it. It was the book selected by Frank Hodge's
book club this month. The story is called The Last Straw, by Fredrick H.
Thury  (Talewinds 1998). The story of the camel whose burden is
evergrowing with the gifts of all he meets on the way to the stable on
Christmas Eve, whose last item to take along is a straw for the baby's
bed, and whose knees buckle just as he gets to the stable--when the baby
reaches out to touch him and no burden was ever to great to be carried
again--is just beautiful for any audience.
