Every year New York City is the site of an exciting week devoted to books
culminating with a full day of events of 5th avenue on Sunday, September
26th.  It is a librarian's paradise.  There is a web-site this year (NYIBC)
but so far only the major events are posted.  There are many free events that
day and authors signing books right on the street.  Last year there was a
huge add in the New York Times during the week prior to the events.  It is an
event that should not be missed by librarians!  happy reading!
