Good morning - I remember reading a few years ago about a teacher (in the south, I think) who started playing Italian Opera during detention and saw a dramatic decrease in the number of kids who got in trouble. The idea has always intrigued me - it's not cruel and unusual punishment, but the kids sure hate it. We have a new Assistant Principal. I mentioned it to him & he liked the idea, but would like to see the article. Anyone remember reading this? I've struck out trying to find it online.
