Regarding personnel taking donated books to new positions--were the books
donated to the person or to the school library?  The answer to that question
should settle where the books belong.  Even if I personally accumulated
donated books for the library, I would leave them if I moved on.  I think
taking them is tacky, tacky, tacky.  Just my personal opinion.
