LM_NET: Library Media Networking

I have a request for information concerning terms that are unique to
speakers of English in Australia.  In other words,  terms used in Australia
for every-day things that Americans do not use.  I think that some of them
might be the same as Brittish terms (bonnet for car trunk,  lorrie for
truck,  that sort of thing.)
Can anyone suggest a web site, or better yet,  could some of our Australian
friends respond?
