Read 'n' feed program

Has anyone tried the reading motivation program "Fiction, Food, and Fun" on
the elementary school level? I would like some information about it.  What
book(s) did you choose?  Were parents invited to participate?  Who was on the
committee to prepare for the event?  Was it successful? Any other
information?  Thanks.
