I really like the video...and my K-1 students do too! I've read some mixed
reviews on LM_NET, though...so maybe you shouldn't just take my opinion.
The people at Media are very nice and will let you preview the movie
before you purchase it. That's what I did. When I was finished with it, I
simply sent it back via library rate.

I previewed "Be a Book Buddy" and really did not care for it. Plus it was
REAL expensive. Would like to hear what other titles are suggested, so
hope you will post a hit.

19063. Phone is 1-800-523-0118. Call to negotiate the price...list price
is over $200, but when I expressed surprise they agreed to sell it for
$89.
I still was using Glad book too....Book Buddy has good and bad points.
Good...prepares you for bad things being done to the book, but then shows
GOOD care...
Negative...when the class leaves the librarian goes to an old dilapidated
messy desk, puts on headphones and starts reading a paperback book!!!!!
In what universe....??
I will use it because I haven't found anything better.
