Tar: Library closed during school day

I need to vent and I knew this would be the best place to do it.  It seems
that my library is going to be closed to the students for two days this week
because six people have to grade tests for the state. I am so upset because
1200 students will be without access to the library. I spoke to my principal
about this issue and he wants to move the six people to a conference room.
However this issue may be a district or state issue and it may be out of his
hands. I would appreciate any advice or ideas on how to handle this issue -
