Last year I received some grant money to purchase CD Rom towers for the =
library. Since that time it seems that more and more databases are being =
offered online. I might also add that Alabama now has in place the =
Virtual Library. The databases offered are EBSCO, Britannica, Electric =
Library, Grolier, SIRS, OCLC First Search and ProQuest. Of course, we =
don't know how long these will be funded. I only have two months left to =
spend the money, but I am now wondering if they are a wise investment. If =
you have an opinion one way or another about this would you please e-mail =
me. Also if you have any information about brands that have been reliable =
and prices I would be most appreciative. I will post a hit if there is =
any interest. Thanks in advance for your time.
