It might take awhile to accumulate enough of them, but I have found that old CD's, either from AOL, or other advertising CD's that I do not use make excellent passes. I simply write on them with a permanent marker, and they are virtually indestructable. They can be stored easily by putting a wooden dowel into a piece of wood (sort of like the old style spindle but without the point)and just stacking the CD's. You might put out an appeal to your families, community, or businesses in the area to save unusable or outdated CD's for you. -- Gail Smith, Cybrarian Edison Regional Gifted Center, Chicago gsmith@edison.cps.k12.il.us or gks@execpc.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
