Alice wrote, "Read his website, buy and share his books with your supervisors, and run, do not walk, to see him whenever/wherever you can! [I'm] a self-confessed Jamie groupie. I too am enthralled with Jamie McKenzie's vision of information literacy. I listened to his keynote address to the 1999 North Carolina Association of Educational Communications and Technology (NCAECT) conference in Raleigh, NC. HE WAS AWESOME! Supporting school librarians all the way. We just happened to have 9 classroom teachers from my school listening to him that day as well. He underscored what our media team had been promoting for two years. Two of my teachers are now regular readers of his web site (www.fromnowon.org) and stop by to discuss issues with us. Do try and hear him speak if you get an opportunity and check out his web site.
