Watch long headers and HTML

If you are replying to the entire group about a message that has been sent
and including that message, please make sure that you delete all old headers
before sending it.  There have been several messages lately that you could
not find the meat of the message because of long headers in front of and
behind it.  This not only frustrates the reader who is trying to understand
what the message sender is trying to say, but also wastes valuable space in
the members' mailboxes.

Also there have been several messages lately in which the text is repeated
in HTML programming.  Most mail programs have a way to turn this off.  If
you do not know how to turn the HTML off, please send a message to the list
and someone will be glad to help you.  Again, messages in HTML programming
are impossible to read and waste valuable space.

One last bit of advice - make sure your signature identifies your library
and area of the country.
