I am in the wonderful delema of choosing a collection of materials for our
principal to leave as a gift to the library as he retires. His instructions
were only that he would give an amout of $500.00. I know he loves history,
geography, etc. I read Mary Ann Bell's post about the DK Atlas and have that
on the list but our students love to use CD's in the library and in our
Research Center where we have 10 online computers with CD drives. I thought
about contacting our local DK rep. - I have their science CD and it was a
worthwhile purchase for the money. I checked the archives for history CD's
but didn't find anything related to elem. Do you have any suggestions? I
should mention that we have a couple of CD encyclopedias already and they
aren't used much.
