Hello, I need to update my placement folder and I have a question. My folder is currently maintained by the college where I completed my undergraduate work. I was wondering if it is necessary to start a new folder at Syracuse University, which is where I will get my MLS? Do employers care where the folder comes from as long as the references are up-to-date and refer to my abilities as a LMS? It seems that they wouldn't, but I have this nagging doubt, so I thought I'd ask those of you with experience. It seems silly to go to the expense of opening a new folder, just to have it come from a well-known institution....
