Dear all:

I know this is a bit out of the usual request area, but this is an
opportunity a district should not miss, especially if they are looking for
a technologically savvy teacher, perhaps to co-ordinate technology in an
elementary or middle school setting.

I have a friend (not a librarian) who for family reasons is having to move
to Minneapolis in about two months. He has been teaching for 22 years, and
has been in his current position (middle school math) for the past 7. He
is certified for MN 1-6, any subject, and has a Masters in Middle School
Teaching. He is looking for an elementary position, preferable 5th or 6th,
but would consider any level; but it needs to be in the Minneapolis area.
He is especially interested in a position that would involve technology.
This is a chance for a district to get a really fine, experienced teacher.
If any of you know of positions in the Minneapolis area, would you drop a
note to Tom? He is checking email daily at:
 tomchip@discover-net.net
and would be very appreciative of any help you could give. He can travel
for interviews, and has a solid resume that can be sent snail mail or
forwarded electronically.

My thanks, and Tom's!

P.S. If you like, you can send info to me and I will forward.
