Target:: High School Sport Books

I know you all will come through with this one: I am looking for books that
will appeal to teenagers who love sports more than books.  I am thinking in
particular of one bright African American young lady who is an exceptional
high school basketball player.  She needs to work on her reading skills, so
I am thinking maybe some books on tape.  I need to become more familiar with
good young adult books with female sports figures as protagonists.  She is
not that interested in historical novels.  I also need some ideas for a boy
basketball player who is also a reluctant reader but too old for Matt
Christopher and Chris Crutcher.
