Postcards for the Olympics

Hi everyone,
This request is on behalf of a colleague  - I love the idea, so if you could send 
one to us too,
that would be just fantastic.
The children really respond to these sorts of activities and the buzz of excitement 
is worth the
effort, and it will get even louder as September 8 draws closer..

Would anyone be kind enough to send a postcard to my grade at school -
in preparation for the Olympics we are studying other countries next
term - they are 8,9 and 10 year olds so they are very excited by the
thought of finding out about other places - I haven't told them this,
but I thought it would be a great thing if we could receive postcards
from all around the world - we have a big map in the room and could mark
on the map as the postcards came in.  We couldn't send anything back as
money is tight, but we may be able to email thank yous if email
addresses were included.
