SEC: Accessing Billboard Music Charts

Our Mass Media students are doing a project on musicians, and they need to
know when a particular musician's song made the Billboard top ten chart.
The Billboard site charges $14.95 per month for access to this
information.  Does anyone know of any other point of access for this kind
of info?

We have a number of books on musicians which will be of limited help, and
the next best thing I can think of is to access the band's own website.
Proquest Bronze seems to only have the abstracts for recent issues of
Billboard.  Any other ideas out there?
