Thanks to everyone who responded to my request for anyone interested in starting an online book club. I've gotten some great responses and I will hold onto them until July or August. I will try to pair schools together and you can decide at that time if you would like to start a club. If you already had a club this year either inhouse or online and would be willing to share the 9th grade book titles that your students really enjoyed or share your wisdom as to the pitfalls you encountered, please e-mail me directly. I am especially interested in anyone who posted the comments on your webpage or had an interactive club online. What software is required? How did you/or did you monitor comments? Did the students read the books? How often was a book assigned? Thanks in advance, Kathy "A critic is someone who comes onto the battlefield after the battle is over and shoots the wounded."
