Paul,

Sorry I don't have the citation for you, but see if you can find the
Christian Library Journal's review on the first first three books they do a
good job of a rational explanation for reading Harry Potter in Christian
schools.  We used the review when a parent challenged the District for
allowing classroom teachers to read the books to students (she had no problem
with the book in library - she didn't want kids to be a "captive" audience
and have to listen to the book read by a teacher).
