Duchess book

Thanks very much to all those who responded to my question about the
picture book about a duchess.  Most of my responses felt with great
certainty that the book is The Duchess Bakes a Cake by Kahl, 1955 and out
of print. Other responses were Plum Pudding for Christmas by Kahl.
        Thanks very much for your quick responses. I will pass on the
information to the very nice parent who loved this book as a child.
