Eleven-year-old Charlie is told by his parents that they are getting a
divorce.  That night he decides to run away for a day or two until
his parents agree to get back together.  Well, Charlie meets an
older, troubled girl on his trip and goes down the slippery slope of a
series of bad decisions.  This 165 page book at times has a feel
like an after school special but it does not end up all happily-ever-
after.  Both Charlie and the girl face the "music" for their bad
decisions.
