Hi all,
I am trying to find websites that would appropriate for second graders. They
will be researching: Settlers, Colonists, Explorers, Pioneers, and the
following Native American Tribes - Nez Perce, Menominee, Chippewa, Seminole,
Mohawk, Makah, Iroquois, Pueblo.
I have been previewing sites for the last two hours. There is a lot of
information out there, but little that will work for early readers. I would
greatly appreciate some recommendations.
So far I have found:
Pioneers - http://tqjunior.advanced.org/6400
Explorers - PBS Lewis & Clark
http://www.pbs.org/lewisandclark/site/index.html
Colonists - http://www.kidinfo.com/School_Subjects.html#AmericanHistory

I would love to have several sites on each topic.
Thanks in advance for your time,
