TARGET,ELEM: picture book re white parents and African Am. children

Greetings!  My principal is looking for a picture book depicting a family
of white parents and African-American children.  I found a number of books
with mixed-race parents, and other adoption books of families with mixed
race.  Other books such as GOOSE (Molly Bang) and HORACE (Holly Keller)
feature an animal being taken in by an animal family of a different
species.  It would be great to find exactly this situation in human terms.
