As a student who has just began her studies a school media specialist,I
want to have a better understanding about where most professianls in our
field feel about banned books. Are there some books that just do not have a
place on the shelves of a school library? If this is the case, would this
not be considered censorship and the obstruction of free speech. I am a
little perplexed- perhaps seeing different opinions on this issue will shed
some light on the matter.
