My colleagues and I are in the process of drafting a proposal to secure stable funding for our district library programs. We want to define those funds necessary for basic "to-open-the-doors" operation and also identify the funding necessary to provide "superior" programs. Do anyone have current funding formulas/strategies in the area of print, non print and equipment needs? In the past we have submitted specific item proposals using a baseline $ amount plus FTE numbers to determine equitable funding for each building. I would appreciate any information that might help us.
