Hi All, I have two comments re the Barnes and Noble discussion: 1. If you are tax exempt, thank your lucky stars! In Washington State, we have to pay sales tax on everything we purchase--even if it is from out of state(we have to report that to the state and pay the taxes)--therefore, being a tax-supported entity, we pay more sales tax than the average taxpayer! I could voice an opinion about the wisdom of paying taxes with tax money, but I bet you can predict what I might say. 2. Try supporting your local bookstore. Most locally owned bookstores take Purchase Orders, special order what you want, give at least a 15% discount, and your money stays in the community! ...getting off my soapbox...
