I've just been notified that this "trick" is no longer sophisticated = enough for some of the new viruses. Dan Robinson of HW Wilson Company in Bronx, NY advises me that=20 "The viruses around today use their own smtp programs to send the email and just use your address book for a = source. They don't do checks for validity of addresses. You might get a = warning on a bounce, but that's it. Up to date antivirus software is much better. " Sorry for tying up the airspace!
