Harry Potter & Christmas

Just thought I would remind you that if you want to create a Harry Potter
corner like I have in my library, either for your library of your child's
bedroom, Christmas is THE time to buy the lights and doodads to hang.  I
created the ceiling of the Great Hall by hanging star-shaped Christmas
lights, then swathing the whole area in sheer black fabric which has a gold
star design on it.  Then I bought all the shiny hanging wotnots and just
pinned them up so that the fabric ballooned.  It's very effective and cost
me about $A20.00 all up.

It's also a good time to buy stars and stuff if you are planning a space
display or anything to do with the night sky.  And of course calendar
half-price sales are on the way for cheap picture kits!
