TARGET:SEC:Cost of furnishing a new library

Dear colleagues:
I have searched the archives and the Internet and have found lots of good
information about furnishing a new library, but what I haven't found is a
cost estimate.  I know that this is hard to do as each school is different;
however, for various reasons, I need a ball-park figure by next Wednesday of
how much it would cost to furnish a new library for approx. 1400 students,
including computer furnishings, shelving for approx. 18,000 volumes, small
conference rooms (2), leisure reading area and class areas, possibly a
library classroom, and anything else anyone can provide.

 Along with that, if anyone has installed an AMX or other TV system which
totally controls access I could use that figure also.

I will be working on putting something together myself, but any confirmation
that I am heading in the right direction would be helpful--or that I am
missing the mark.

know and I'll send it to you individually, unless I get the message that
many people are interested.
