Diane- you wrote- On a humorous note, my Televisions at home are so ancient that I cannot > connect a DVD player or the new Playstation2 This is not only a problem with "old" televisions but also with TV/VCR combinations. We bought my husband a DVD player this Christmas because he wanted The Gladiator (available to the public only in DVD although rental stores could buy it in VHS for $119). I discovered that my year old TV/VCR combo didn't have the required input jacks. I had had a similar problem at school with a VGA converter for a large screen TV with an S video connection. So I too went to trusty Radio Shack for the RF converter box at $30. It was easy to hook up and he can now watch DVDs. I must say that I am not that impressed with them but I remember the feeling I had back in the 70s when all new stereos had to have a cassette tape player. Still trying to keep up, Jo ********************************************************** Josephine G.
