I have continued to call this section Easy in our K-5 school. The area where our "Easy" books are shelved is where my rocking chair is and is referred to as the "Story Corner." The books shelved there are picture book fiction, picture book fairy tales (not anthologies,) beginning readers, and very simple non-fiction. I read to every class at least 3 times a month from picture books. My lessons are based on the books' themes, genres or illustrations. I let students know that picture books are for all people - from infants to the elderly. Since the older students hear many wonderful picture books we don't have a problem with them avoiding that section of the library. We also have a section of picture books in our Fiction section. These are picture books whose themes are too intense for the little ones, like Faithful Elephants or Pink and Say. Plus several of our 4th and 5th grade teachers do literature and writing activities using picture books. So, at least in our school, "Easy" or "Everybody" is a moot point!
