TECH: HP 692C Printer

I have a HP 692C deskjet color printer. It has printed
in colorbefore,  but it is not doing so now.  I have
gone into My Computer and checked printers and options
and set everything I can find to set.  I have also
checked settings in Word and I am unable to even print
a test page in color.  It is b/w.  I was trying to
print photos from a digital camera when I discovered I
am getting no color.  I installed a new color
cartridge but still no luck.  Anyone know of anything
else to check?  I am on a PC Windows 98. When I try to
print a photo , I get sort of an outline because it is
just b/w. I am unable to find this printer listed
among those listed on HP's website.
