As I was cleaning several overhead projectors today, the school secretary walked in and asked what I was doing. She had never seen a MS clean an overhead before. I also clean books. Even though our school is in a rather wealthy area, the books come back looking like the kids dug them out of the trash. I'm curious to know how many of you clean the equipment at the end of the year or how many clean dirty (outside, not inside) books. Out of 40 teachers who returned overheads and CD/tape players only two attempted to clean the equipment or cart -- only one did it correctly. Is this a sign of my (old) age?
