HS/MS Only: Why did you choose it?

I am wondering if those of you who are in High Schools and Middle Schools
could tell me *why* you chose the grade levels you are at instead of the
other two.  I am going to be relocating in the next few weeks and I am
seriously thinking of switching from the elementary level to either MS or
HS, and I was looking for some of the advantages to those 2 levels.  I
have loved being at the elementary level, but I feel like I'm looking to
move up.

In addition to the advantages of your level, could you also give me an
idea about the following, too:
1) What are the DISadvantages?
2) What electronic resources does your school have (specifics)?
3) What should I definitely know about working in MS or HS?

I would truly appreciate your help!!!
