Dear Netters, I really feel dumb in writing to you all today, however I really need help. Recently, our district is enforcing strict copyright rules (thank God, it's about time.) My principal and asst. principal came to me with a thousand questions about copyright and that I'm going to have to speak about copyright at a faculty meeting (yuck). Like I said b/f I really feel dumb asking this question but here goes. Is the copyright law written by the U.S. government and not by states? Is there a website that I can go to and copy the copyright law so at the faculty meeting I will have ammunition and not look like a dork? For years I have been telling my previous principal that he was violating copyright, but he just put his hand up in the air and had a deaf ear. Our teachers now have to sign a paper stating that they are in compliance. It is a frightening matter to me. Thanks, Michele Knowles Miami Dade County Public Schools =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
