Blaine School District in Blaine, WA is about to open (within a week) a
full-time grade 9-12 librarian's position (due to enrollment).  This
position will include a full-time aide for a school of nearly 600 students.  It
is a GREAT position, with a supportive faculty and administration.  I know
because for the last 15 years, I have been the half or third time
librarian and will now be the full-time middle school librarian.  This is
obviously an awkward time to be opening a job but we are hopeful that there are
enthusiastic, creative people who are excited about teaching information
literacy, love young adult literature, have some background in reading at
the secondary level, and are experienced in technology (especially Macs) who
are looking for work.  I will be literally next door as both schools are
on the same campus.  This is a limited explanation; if interested, please
