A mom just emailed me asking if I knew of any websites that are of help in identifying tree leaves. Our 5 graders have to turn in a 20-leaf collection and the media center, caught unawares (uh-oh), has only 3 guides. I promised to ask you guys and get back to her if you knew of any. I found one: http://mbgnet.mobot.org/sets/temp/leafid.htm but, I bet there are sites that are exactly what she needs--big clear photos of individual leaves with their names. I feel her panic. Leaf collections are more difficult to do than one would think! :) Thanks very much.
