Is there a web site that will give me upgrade info about a specific computer. For example, I'm wanting to put new RAM and into 4 different computers. Is there a site where I can look up the computer brand and model and it will tell me what type of ram I need to buy? I'm about to venture into unknown territory and do these things myself instead of paying someone else to do it. On a related topic, I'm looking at external hard drives. Can any one give recommendations or tell me what to look for and avoid. The computer does not have an IEEE 1394 port, so will not be able to use one that attaches that way. This hard drive will be used exclusively for teachers and students to work on digital video editing.
