I have searched the archives using "accelerated reader" and "labeling", but have not found hits on the topic. Please guide me to any previous discussions that will answer my questions regarding Accelerated Reader! We are implementing AR for the first time. We're a k-5 elementary, with 280 students, and I'm a full-time LMS. I plan to keep all books organized by traditional library system. But, as we begin this process, I wonder about how other librarians label their books. Do you label the spine with the reading level, or do you label the inside of the book, just marking the spine as an AR book in general? I'm wondering about the "stigma" problem. My teachers are divided about it, and some think it's not an issue, while others do. What arguments or experiences do you have with this? Thank you in advance!
