Dear Group, We just had an outstanding author visit. Marion Blumenthal Lazan, a child survivor of the Holocaust and co-author of Four Perfect Pebbles just came to our high school and spoke about her experiences during the Holocaust as a child and her life since. We had an all-school assembly (650 kids), and they listened quietly and intently for over an hour (very unusual behavior for them). When it was over, the kids gave her a standing ovation. She spoke at our middle school that afternoon, and they were equally pleased. I can't recommend her highly enough. She can be contacted through her web page http://www.fourperfectpebbles.com or e-mail mnlazan@netmonger.net.
