administrators discover the flexibility and convenience of Web-based
courses when renewing a teaching license and pursuing career advancement
goals.

"We are committed to providing solutions for teachers that have a clear
vision for using the Internet in new and innovative ways," said Roger
Kueter, head of the Department of Teaching. "UNI ProfDevOnline strives
to be exemplary in its use of the Internet, not only to improve our own
course enrollment but also to increase the teachers' value to their
districts. The impact of education and learning on a person's
professional life is tremendous, and we always look forward to working
with teachers around the world in our online classes."

Teachers from 38 countries and 27 states have participated in UNI online
professional development courses.
