Re: Promoting the School Media center

Promoting my library is one of my goals for this year.  I will be having an
"Adopt a Library Book" sale at the first parent night.  A local book store
will be coming in with a selection of books (of my choosing) so that parents
can buy a book to add to the library collection.  We will also be having
poetry coffee houses on a regular basis that will be open to the public.  I
also plan on holding a workshop for parents on Internet safety.  For the
teachers, I would like to have a teacher potluck lunch in the library at
some point.  For the students I plan to run various contests this year.
