TARGET: Still looking for "Waiting Reindeer"

I didn't get a response to yesterday's post. So, I thought I would give it
another shot. I have a teacher looking for the author, title of a Christmas
anthology book which contains the short story "The Waiting Reindeer." The
story is about a poor reindeer who dreams of pulling Santa's sleigh. One
night, one of the 'regular' reindeers is sick and Santa asks the little
reindeer to help pull his sleigh. He leaves a note for his Mom and gets to
fulfill his dream. Ring any bells?
