Just so this doesn't confuse anyone--Almost all software applications are now
platform neutral, so a Mac version from school works on the PC and home, and a
PC version from school works on a Mac at home. I have students who do it both
ways, and everything is quite friendly. PC's at home do not require PC's at
school. Especially with the Microsoft Office Suite, some have said to me that
the Mac/PC crossover is sometimes easier that using two different PC versions
of Microsoft Office on different machines.
