I am teaching a unit on evaluating web sites to 8th graders. I would like an example of an informational site where the author is a child, preferably a mid-school or elementary student. The information presented doesn't have to be incorrect, but the author must be identified as a student from such and such school. I am trying to make the point that anybody can publish on the web, and you shouldn't blindly except the information as true without checking your sources. I have been trying for a couple hours to find a good example. I have looked at many sites about how to evaluate web sites (like Kathy Schrock's) but have yet to find an example with a young student as author. Can anybody help? Please send the URL for the site if you have one.
