LM_NET: Library Media Networking
I have a few teachers who have special boxes to collect their library books
in throughout the week, so when library day comes they just return the box.
One teacher couldn't find her library box, and had the kids use the paper
recycling box instead.(!)
Substitute custodian was on duty - didn't realize they were BOOKS (?) and
dumped them in the dumpster.
The kids knew they had put their books in the box, but I never received
them. It took us two weeks to figure out what had happened. By that time the
trash men had been here and the books were history.
She offered to pay for the eleven lost books, but I still haven't seen the
money. We don't have a policy to cover teacher losses and damages...yet!
