ELE: Themes throughout the year

I just came across a book that may help you elementary level people. It is
called

Early Childhood Themes throughout the Year
by Debbie Thompson and Darlene Hardwick
edited by Ina Massler Levin
1993 reprinted 2001

Teacher Created Materials, pub.
www.teachercreated.com

Included are themes for 12 months of the year. Each month is broken down
into four topics, and each topic is further broken down into five days of
lessons. Each weekly section contains suggestions for sharing time, art,
story time, circle time, food experiences and theme activities.

For example:
September -
Getting acquainted - pets - apples and worms - fall
October
Community places and people pt. 1 and 2 - senses - Halloween
November
colors - self concept - Children of the world - Thanksgiving
