After reading all the posts about shelving of paperbacks=20
I can only say I wish I had that problem. Two years ago
I was forced to discard all paperbacks in my library, as=20
were all the schools in my district. When I was slow in
doing so, my work partner did it on my day off. I am still
so angry and sad about it. Why were we forced to do=20
this? Good question. We were told that paperbacks did
not last as long and that our district would only buy library
bound books! My whole collection of Goosebumps and
Animorphs were paperbacks from book fairs. And no
amount of logic would change my superiors minds even
when the money was from book fairs. Needless to say,
none of those in charge have a library background. =20

Just needed to get that off my chest after still feeling sad
over the loss of so many good books the kids loved.
By the way, I interfiled them with hardbacked books.

Enjoy those paperbacks :-)
