Our Intermediate Library is without a librarian temporarily, so I am
helping the library assistant finish the ordering for the year. What
reference books would those of you working with this age group consider
essential (besides the obvious ones like the World Book, the almanac,
field guides, dictionaries, etc.)? Some of the research projects they
do are on the states (especially New York), animals and famous people.
